How's that New Years' Resolution working out?

In January 2017, I stopped wishing I could do a chinup (my usual resolution). Instead, I resolved to draw everyday-ish - and you know what? It actually happened.

Almost every day since, I’ve found reasons and opportunities to draw.

Sometimes I missed a week, other times I drew twice a day (that’s the power of ‘ish). But far out! I’ve noticed the details of life more than ever before, I’ve made new friends, I’ve REALLY SEEN so many places I’ve been, and my drawing skills - and confidence - have definitely improved.

My life is so much richer. Like the best chocolate mousse you’ve ever eaten. That kind of ‘rich’.

You see, just as physical fitness is good for your body, Art Fitness is good for your mind.

And it’s not too late to get a bit ‘Art Fit’ in 2021.

You don’t even have to work up a sweat. There's only 4 days to go (and I really enjoyed making this timelapse video for you this morning!).

The Shiny Happy Art Club has been running for almost 3 years. We've painted SO MANY paintings (one per month really adds up!) and I've learned as much from my students as (I'm told) they've learned from me.

In the last few months, we've refreshed things.

We've added a watercolour option, made a lot of the back catalogue available to new members, and there are now three levels of membership.

You can start getting Art Fit for just $15 pm (that's in Australian dollars and works out to about $11 USD or 9 EUROs).

What's your #artfitness plan?

To warm you up and get you drawing, check out my webinar - “5 Ways to Fit Art into Your Life”. It's free to everyone who joins the Waiting List.
