'Corazon de Flores' - 25 x25cm - Anna Battle
Many years ago… let’s say 14 years ago… I was following the art of Frenchwoman, Nathalie Lete.
That year she was visiting Australia as a guest of the fashion label, Blue Illusion, and she was scheduled to paint the windows of their store at Pacific Fair.
So mum babysat my 1 and 4 year olds and I drove 2 hours to the coast to see her!
The inspiration has continued and I still admire her so much, all these years on.
This special artwork features quality prints of the watercolour hearts I painted as a result of spending time with Nathalie. I’ve hand cut each one and carefully glued them in a measured grid, on the fold, using acid-free glue to an acid free backing matt board. I then handpainted an acrylic border and signed in pencil on the front and the back.
Measuring 25 × 25cm in a 4cm deep clear acrylic box frame that can be hung or popped on a shelf.
These frames come with their own solid box so it’s very easy to post.
Pickup from Toowoomba or delivery arranged at cost.
